New Block Prints

I've been translating some of my images from my ongoing birds series into block prints via linocut etchings and lots of layers. It's been really time-consuming but is very rewarding when a good print comes out.

For those of you who are local, you may recognize the parrot, which is a red-crowned Amazon which can be seen in noisy flocks over the city. A huge flock likes to perch outside my window in a tall tree come sunset.



Also, this is the munny I did for the February Senses show titled "The Morning After."
It's kinda hard to tell but the munny is covered with a condom. I think it's self-explanatory. The next Senses show is in March. Click here for more info.

SENSES Show

Come check out the Senses show at the Terrace in Pasadena on Saturday, Feb. 7! There's gonna be a munny gallery, displaying a munny I'm doing called "The Morning After," cool artwork, music, and dancing! It's free before 11 pm and free for the ladies, and there will be a Valentine's dates auction where all the proceeds will benefit a breast cancer charity. Hope you can come out for a night of fun, all for a good cause!
